Doğan Investment Bank (Doğan Yatırım Bankası A.Ş.) was established after being licensed by Turkey’s Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK) on March 19, 2020 (Decision No. 8953) and was registered in the Istanbul Trade Registry on June 22, 2020 with a starting capital of TRY 200,000,000.


The Bank received an operating license from the BDDK on May 21, 2021 (Decision No. 9568). The license went into effect after the agency’s decision was published in the Official Gazette on May 26, 2021 (Issue No. 31492).


Doğan Investment Bank, which is fully owned by the Doğan Companies Holding Corporation (Doğan Şirketler Grubu Holding A.Ş.) and its subsidiaries, commenced its activities on August 2, 2021. Aiming to become the leading investment bank supporting Turkey's economic progress and a principal representative of the international financial system in Turkey, Doğan Investment Bank has since been operating with a vision of creating sustainable added value for all its stakeholders with its innovative and world-class financial solutions, its know-how and experience in local and international markets, its sensible banking philosophy, and its entrepreneurial culture.


In line with its vision, mission and strategy, Doğan Investment Bank offers its Corporate and Commercial Banking customers Structured Finance, Investment Banking and Treasury products, as well as Cash Management and Foreign Trade Finance services as part of its Transactional Banking operations.

Doğan Investment Bank obtained operating licenses to offer Public Offering Brokerage, Portfolio Brokerage and Limited Custodial Services from Turkey’s Capital Markets Board (SPK) on October 27, 2021 (Meeting No. 55/1604). Separately, on the same date (Meeting No. 55/1588), the SPK approved an issuance certificate for the Bank to sell debt instruments in Turkey on an allocated basis and/or to qualified investors without a public offering, subject to a total issuance ceiling of TRY 1,200,000,000. The Bank successfully completed its first round of bond issuance in the domestic market in December 2021


Consistent with its strategy of creating value-added solutions for Turkey’s economy, Doğan Investment Bank continues to invest in the delivery of digital solutions that address the financing needs of small- and medium-size businesses and that enhance the country’s e-commerce ecosystem. Within this framework, Doğan Investment Bank signed an agreement with The Development Facility of the European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE DF) in December 2021 with a view to helping with the financing needs of micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises operating in Turkey's e-commerce ecosystem.
